Согласно Flora Europaea, эти виды отличаются по длине прицветников, которые здесь закрыты увеличившимися чашечками. Но если те узкие сегменты, которые местами проглядывают, относятся к прицветникам, то это, всё-таки, Trifolium bonannii.

Hello Roland, in Trifolium fragiferum (incl. T. bonanni, which is said to have smaller calyces with 4-6 mm (vs. 8-10 mm) length in fruit, but which is often not accepted or semi-accepted, eg. in VPG, Med-Checklist, Zohary & Heller, Trifolium) the lower flowers are subtended by long bracts up to 3 mm, and form an involucre at the base of the flower head. It cannot be veri- or falsified on your picture. Trifolium fragiferum has creeping and rooting stems resembling to Trifolium repens, and is confined to damp meadow-like vegetation. Generaly the plant are identical with those which I know as T. physodes from Crete, including the leaf pattern. Best whsies, Ralf
