Dear Irina,
thank for the quickly answer. I think, we need pictures of spike and close up's of flowers. The taxon on Heracleum is undescribed yet! Because of this I'am very grateful for specimen material. The possibilities of cooperation we can discus in the next time. First, it is important to save images and material.

I have seen similar plants on Heracleum on this web page. There, the plants were yellow.

Many thanks for your support.

Holger

The flowers are very small. Probably a member of O. minor-group (O. minor, O. picridis)?

Dear Sergey,
these plants of O. grossheimii are in perfect state. Very beautiful pictures! Congratulation! Can I use these pictures for my non-commercial webproject Orowiki (considering the copyrights of course)?

Dear Irina,
this find is very interesting. The host is probably Heracleum spec. Tzvelev have named in 1957 Orobanche alsatica var. heraclei Tzvelev, nom. nud.. The stems of your plant are very scaly, a character of O. alsatica-group. Can you visit the place again to make photos of this plant in anthesis?

It seems to be a yellow form of O. alba (f. lutescens (Boreau) Beck?)

Yes its Orobanche cernua, possible var. desertorum. Very interesting find on Crimea.

Dear Irina,
I think its Orobanche alba, because of the calyx shape (entire, narrow tooth) and because of the possibly host (Salvia - in the lower left part of the picture).

Dear Yana,
I have no idea what this is for a species. I would imagine,  that in this plant the yellow color components are missing. In habit it looks  similar to O. laxissima. But the site on the Alibek glacier is very high for this species and their hosts. I was in this area in 1986.

Dear friends,
this is Orobanche linczevskii Novopokr., a species nearly enclosed to Orobanche lutea. The habit, the lax remote flowered spike and the remarkable geniculate flowers a characteristic for O. linczevskii.

In my opinion, these are the first pictures of the kind congratulations.

Dear Alexander, can I use these pics for the Orowiki-Project (http://orowiki.org), please?

Dear Vladislav, dear Andrey,
yes, I think also this is Orobanche rosea. On the second picture you can see associated the host Prangos ferulacea. They are the first pictures of this species, which I see. Congratulation.

Dear Vladislav, can I use one or both pictures in a higher definition for my wiki (http://orowiki.org), please?

Best wishes

Holger

Yes, this isn't O. cernua. Something similar to O. hederae, but not in Uzbekistan and not on Lonicera. I have no opinion yet. I suggest, if possible, to collect specimen.

Dear Nadeshda, the both pictures above (the possible host) are Trifolium scabrum. But I haven't see before O. gracilis on Trifolium. See also the host list on http://farmalierganes.com/Flora/Angiosp … cklist.htm.
