Тема: Spinacia tetrandra
В отечественных сводках автор данного вида обычно приводится как Steven, в IPNI - Steven ex M. Bieb., а в Euro+Med PlantBase - M. Bieb. Скоро должна выйти заметка в Willdenowia (о находке вида в России), и в ней был указан автор Steven, так как Биберштейн сослался в своей публикации (1808) на Стевена (1809).
Но вот что сегодня написал по этому поводу редактор журнала Nicholas Turland (он кстати и редактор Шеньженьского кодекса, так что знает, что к чему):
I do not agree with the authors‘ claim that the name Spinacia tetrandra must be attributed to Steven.
If you look at the protologue (https://biodiversitylibrary.org/page/11268928), you will see that the name is not ascribed to anyone, but the validating diagnosis is ascribed to Steven (citing a publication that was published the following year).
Because in this case neither Art. 46.2 nor 46.4 applies, the name is attributed to the author of the publication, i.e. Bieberstein. See Art. 46 Note 1 and the essentially parallel case in Art. 46 Ex. 3 (the only difference there being that Wallich explicitly ascribed the name to himself, whereas Bieberstein did not, but the name is anyway ascribed to Bieberstein in the absence of any other explicit ascription – see Art. 46 Note 5).
Так вот, может нам тоже заменить (на сайте) авторство этого вида на M. Bieb.?
